Autumn Tour

Open Chamber Music Tour

Every year, following Open Chamber Music, a group of musicians specially invited by IMS's Artistic Director Steven Isserlis, take part in a national tour, bringing the work done at IMS to a wider audience.

We are thrilled to announce that in 2016 we will be joined on tour by Elisabeth Leonskaja and Winfried Rademacher, who will be performing with cellists Julian Arp, István Várdai, the young violinist and violist Sini Simonen and Jenny Lewisohn, alongside clarinettist Matthew Hunt, making this year's group a great example of Sándor Végh's original idea of mixing experienced players and professors with young musicians in ensemble.

Glinka Trio Pathétique for Clarinet, Cello and Piano in D minor
