South West Tour 2018

Following the success of this project last year we are very much looking forward to the 2018 South West Tour, which will take place in November.

The South West Tour provides an opportunity for us to offer concerts in new areas across Cornwall, working with Carn to Cove to bring our work to smaller and community venues to reach new audiences. The concerts will be presented to appeal to all audiences and we welcome people who are new to classical music as well well as seasoned attendees.

As well as the four concerts, the group will go into two schools during the week, bringing chamber music to young people at primary age, and also secondary students preparing for their GCSEs.

This year, we bring together four internationally-acclaimed musicians to perform an intimate evening of chamber music. New Orleans violinist Jenna Sherry is a renowned young chamber musician as well as Artistic Director of the Birdfoot Festival, Hungarian-German violinist Susanne Schäffer is an international prize-winner, distinguished violist Garfield Jackson is a founding member of the Endellion String Quartet and James Barralet is a British cellist, festival director and composer.
