Sándor Végh Memorial Concerts 2017

Beethoven String Quartet Op.130

- Krysia Osostowicz, violin; Carlo De Martini, violin; Tim Boulton, viola; Christoph Richter, cello

Schumann String Quartet Op.41, No.1

- Kjell-Arne Jorgenson, violin; Ulrike-Anima Mathé, violin; Werner Dickel, viola; Xenia Jankovic, cello

These concerts bring together eight musicians with a close relationship to IMS to give concerts in memory of their teacher, the Hungarian violinist Sándor Végh, who founded IMS Prussia Cove. Sándor Végh died in 1997, and this is the 20th year that musicians closely involved with IMS have given memorial concerts in his honour. We are delighted to be returning to Totnes in January 2017, bringing the music for the seminars to a wider audience.
