General Information

IMS Prussia Cove gives 16 public concerts a year in different churches throughout west Cornwallarranges an annual autumn tour around the UK which culminates at the Wigmore Hall in London, and puts on various fundraising concerts and events throughtout the year at different venues around the country. The Cornwall concerts are run and supported by a strong and loyal network of Friends of IMS, who come from far and wide to attend.

The concerts which take place during both seminars are an integral and important part of the experience. The Maestri concerts in the spring enable students to hear their professors in concert, and the outstanding students are given an opportunity to perform in public. During the Open Chamber Music seminar, the concerts are an opportunity for audiences to hear some of the chamber music that has been rehearsed and studied so intensively.
